Product Description
Tesamorelin (2mg)
Product Overview
Tesamorelin is a stabilized synthetic analog of the endogenous hypothalamic peptide, Growth Hormone-Releasing Hormone (GHRH). It is comprised of the 44-amino acid sequence of human GHRH with the addition of a trans-3-hexenoic acid group at the N-terminal tyrosine residue. This structural modification significantly enhances its metabolic stability and resistance to enzymatic cleavage by dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4), extending its half-life and potency in stimulating the somatotroph cells of the anterior pituitary gland.
Key Research Areas
Growth hormone secretion and endocrine studies
Muscle growth, recovery, and anti-aging research models
Fat metabolism and body composition studies
GH axis and pituitary function investigations
Handling & Reconstitution
For laboratory evaluation, reconstitute with Bacteriostatic Water (BAC). Once reconstituted, the solution should be refrigerated at 2–8°C (36–46°F) and utilized within the appropriate experimental window to ensure structural integrity.
